Support & Troubleshooting

Account, connection, route and billing issues

Find guidance by the stage where the issue occurs. Start by updating the subscription and checking the client connection status, then switch routes or review system settings based on the symptoms. If the cause is still unclear, submit a ticket through the user panel.

ACCOUNT

Account & Subscriptions

Account creation, supported platforms, device changes, and ways to get and update your subscription.

Do I need an email address to create a MeeVPN account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep both secure; after signing in, use the user panel to view plans, get your subscription and manage the service.

Which systems does MeeVPN support?

Supported platforms: Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. The marketing site does not provide static installers. Sign in to the user panel to open the client page and get the client and subscription import instructions for your system.

Go to the Client page →
Do I need to buy another plan when I change devices?

No separate purchase is needed when changing devices. MeeVPN supports unlimited devices. Sign in to the user panel on the new device, then retrieve and import your subscription. If the old device is no longer in use, remove the subscription from its client so the configuration remains off the device.

Where can I get my subscription link?

After signing in and activating a plan, get your subscription from the Overview or Client page in the user panel. Copy or import it through the panel. Do not forward subscription content to anyone else or paste it into public webpages, screenshots or public documents.

How should I update my subscription link?

Find the current subscription in your client and use its update subscription or refresh configuration option, then wait for the route list to reload. If the update fails, confirm that the current network can open the MeeVPN user panel, then copy the subscription again from the panel and import it over the existing one. Keep the original configuration until the new route list appears normally, then remove the old entry.

CONNECTION

Connections & Troubleshooting

Start with symptoms such as connection failures, webpages not opening, app split tunneling and background disconnects.

What should I check first if the client cannot connect at all?

First confirm that the plan is still active, the subscription has been updated and the client has actually enabled the connection. Then switch to another route in the same region, close and reopen the client, and check whether a connection is established. If no route works, try another access network for comparison. When submitting a ticket, include the system name, the client message and the steps you have tried.

What should I do if the client says it is connected but webpages still will not open?

Open another commonly used website to determine whether one site or all access is affected. If no webpages open, check that the client’s system proxy is enabled, then disconnect and reconnect the route. If only a specific site is inaccessible, switch to a route in another region and clear that site’s old browser cache before trying again.

Why isn’t a particular app using the proxy?

A common cause is that the client is using split tunneling and the app’s connection is not covered by the proxy rules. Switch temporarily to the client’s global connection mode for comparison. If global mode works, the issue is mainly in the split-tunneling rules. Update the subscription and rules, test again, and check whether the app has its own network settings.

What should I do if the subscription update fails or the route list is empty?

First confirm that you can sign in to the user panel normally, then copy the subscription for the current account again. Check for spaces before or after the copied content, and use the client’s overwrite-import function. If the old subscription is still shown but cannot refresh, create a new subscription profile for testing instead of editing the subscription content directly. If it still fails, include the client’s exact message and the system name in a support ticket.

What can I do if iOS or Android disconnects easily in the background?

Check whether the system restricts the client’s background activity and make sure battery-saving settings have not paused the network connection. Return to the client to check its connection status and select another route if needed. If it is stable in the foreground but disconnects in the background, check background permissions and power-saving settings first rather than repeatedly changing the subscription.

ROUTES

Speed & Routes

Troubleshoot peak-hour slowdowns, media buffering, AI tool sessions and regional route selection.

What should I do when performance slows during peak hours?

Update the subscription first, then switch to another route in the same region instead of repeatedly reconnecting to the current route. If routes in the same region perform similarly, try a nearby region for comparison. When playing content, pause loading first and reopen the page after the route switch is complete so the old connection does not continue using the current session.

In what order should I choose routes?

For everyday browsing, start with a nearby route that offers a stable connection. For services with region-specific content, choose a route in the service’s target region. If the current route connects but responds inconsistently, switch to another route in the same region first; this makes it easier to tell whether the issue is with one route or the current access network.

What can I do about frequent buffering when watching high-quality video?

Stop playback and switch routes, then reopen the playback page once the connection is established. Start testing with a nearby region and adjust according to the content’s region. If webpages work normally but video buffers on its own, also check the player quality setting and the local network to avoid mistaking local access fluctuations for a route problem.

How should I troubleshoot an unstable AI tool connection?

Determine whether the webpage cannot open, the login session has expired or the connection drops during a conversation. Update the subscription, switch routes and establish the page session again; avoid switching routes repeatedly during long-running tasks. If only one AI tool is affected, compare it with another international website to confirm whether the route itself is working normally.

Where does MeeVPN provide route coverage?

Coverage: 90+ countries / 200+ routes. Visit the Global Routes page for route information organized by region. When choosing a route, consider the destination, current network and use case rather than region count alone, then compare results after switching in the client.

BILLING

Billing & Refunds

Review monthly plans, data packages, data resets, upgrades, payment methods and refund requests.

What monthly plans and data allowances are available?

Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month with 60GB · ¥18/month with 250GB · ¥28/month with 500GB (data resets monthly on the activation date; mid-cycle upgrades convert the price difference into remaining days). Choose based on your actual needs for browsing, media and work tasks.

View plan details →
What data packages are available?

Data packages (valid until used, with no expiration): ¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB. Data packages suit irregular usage and customers who prefer paying for actual consumption; monthly plans are better for relatively consistent usage.

When does monthly plan data reset?

Monthly plan data resets each month on the activation date rather than on a calendar-month schedule. Check your current plan and data status in the user panel. If the reset date is approaching, review the panel first before deciding whether to change plans.

How are mid-cycle plan upgrades handled?

The price difference for a mid-cycle upgrade is converted into remaining days. Before upgrading, check your current plan and available tiers in the user panel, then complete the change through the Plans page. Do not create duplicate orders for the same purpose, as this can make it unclear which plan is active.

Which payment methods does MeeVPN support?

Payment methods: Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. The checkout entry point is in the plan and order flow inside the user panel. Before paying, verify the plan name, data tier and amount due. After payment, return to the panel to check the order and plan status.

How can I request a refund if I’m not satisfied?

Refund policy: eligible for a refund within 14 days (a full refund is available if you are not satisfied with your first payment). To apply, sign in to the user panel and submit a ticket with the relevant order and issue. Before submitting, you can update the subscription, switch routes and run basic checks on different networks to help support assess and process the request.
